Hotel Aston La Scala

Fabulous hotel, in an excellent location. Staff were very helpful and obliging. Highly recommend.

Excellent location and the rooms at the front and the roooftop area overlook the old town and promenade. It was very convenient to go out for a few hours, come back and rest, then head out again for the evening. The port was walking distance and we were able to book a snorkelling excursion from there. Tram stop very closeby. Nice sized rooms and regularly cleaned. Good breakfast.

Location - can't beat it. We were upgraded to a junior suite, which was absolutely amazing as it was our honeymoon - we felt special. The staff were top tier, particularly those at reception and those who cleaned and serviced our room.

The staff were lovely. Amazing location so convenient to restaurants, shopping and sites. Very clean. The hotel was very accommodating. What I liked the most was we brought up minor issues in the room (very minor) just to let them know in case they thought we caused them and they changed us to another room and apologised profusely. We couldn’t believe how accommodating they were. We definitely didn’t expect it over really minor things we noticed (loose wall lamp for example). They went above and beyond to ensure we were happy and that speaks volumes!

The breakfast was the same each morning but totally fine with it. We only stayed 4 nights but any longer than that I would have something different. It was all good and food was lovely. The room was nice but needed some minor tiling repairs but we were not there to judge that. The room was a great size and beds were comfortable. The location was fantastic and close to the old town and main shops. My daughter was delighted.
